<span>The aim of the present study is to identify and analyze the factors and examples of the Quranic preference for personal interests over the will of God and the strategies for dealing with it. An attempt has been made to design the main question, “What analysis can be presented on the Quranic-moral examples of the preference for personal interests over the will of God Almighty and the strategies for dealing with it from the perspective of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli?” In this study, in order to answer the main question, the authors have tried to select verses that are considered the roots of the preference for personal interests over the will of God from the perspective of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli and analyze them using his interpretative and philosophical works in order to find examples that are considered the roots of the preference for interests and to be able to suggest appropriate strategies. A descriptive-analytical method has been used using library tools. The main findings of the study from the perspective of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli are: First, man naturally seeks perfection; the desire to improve and reach a superior point is instilled within him. Second, despite the innate perfectionism, many people stumble in recognizing the right path and instead of true perfection, they pursue deceptive manifestations such as superiority, power, or pleasure. The authors' analyses show that the cognitive error that leads to the preference of personal interests - as illusory perfection - over the divine will - as true perfection - is based on the fact that desire and imagination dominate human reason and human vision deviates from the purpose of creation. As a solution to prevent this cognitive error, the three steps of "recognizing true perfection instead of illusory perfection"; "faith and jihad" and "self-sacrifice in the way of God" have been received and suggested from the works of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli.</span>
